United States Seventh Circuit

Vose v. Kliment, 07-1792

In a suit alleging that defendants violated plaintiff's constitutional right to free speech by dismissing him from a police department after he reported on officer wrongdoing, denial of summary judgment for defendants on grounds of qualified immunity is reversed where plaintiff's speech was made pursuant to his official responsibilities, thus was not constitutionally protected.
