United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Blount, 06-3915

Conviction for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime is affirmed over defendant's arguments that: 1) the district court improperly admitted evidence of his earlier drug and gun activities because the government provided insufficient notice prior to trial; and 2) a police officer impermissibly testified as to defendant's motives and supplied legal conclusions.
