In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 suit against several prison guards and law enforcement officials alleging violation of plaintiff's due process rights as the result of an altercation with another prisoner, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where: 1) the steps taken by the officer monitoring the area where the fight occurred did not constitute deliberate indifference; and 2) plaintiff did not show that the sheriff was deliberately indifferent to the consequences of delays in prisoner reclassification.
