In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 suit by a prisoner alleging deliberate indifference to his safety after an assault by other prisoners, denial of a motion to add new parties to the suit and summary judgment for defendants are affirmed where the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying the motion, and defendant did not fail to take reasonable measures to abate the risk of harm to defendant.
