Fagocki v. Algonquin/Lake-in-the-Hills Fire Prot. Dist., 06-1685

In a medical malpractice suit involving the treatment of a woman suffering from anaphylactic shock, judgment for plaintiff is reversed where any negligent treatment by paramedics did not rise to the level of "willful and wanton" behavior required to remove the Illinois exemption from liability for negligence by licensed providers of emergency medical treatment.
