US v. Carani, 06-2007

Conviction and sentence for possession of child pornography are affirmed over defendant's arguments that: 1) the district court abused its discretion by giving a deliberate avoidance instruction to the jury; 2) the district court's response to a jury question was in error; and 3) the district court improperly applied a sentencing enhancement for the distribution of child pornography.
