In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 suit against corrections employees alleging that they were deliberately indifferent to his medical needs in violation of the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments, jury verdict for plaintiff is affirmed over the defendants' arguments that: 1) plaintiff offered no verifying medical evidence that the delay in treatment harmed him; 2) they were entitled to qualified immunity; and 3) in the alternative, they should receive a new trial.
