United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Sachsenmaier, 05-3505

Conviction and sentence for conspiracy and distribution of cocaine are affirmed over defendant's arguments that: 1) the district court erred when it denied his motion to suppress the statements of two witnesses; 2) the evidence was insufficient to support his convictions; 3) the district court failed to apply Booker principles properly; and 4) the fact of a prior conviction should either have been admitted or found by a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.
