United States Seventh Circuit

Minch v. City of Chicago, 05-2702

In a due process challenge to a fire department's mandatory retirement policy, dismissal of the claim is affirmed where the plaintiffs did not have a protected property interest in their continued employment since the terms of a collective bargaining agreement did not preclude the City from compelling its firefighters to retire at a particular age.
