United States Seventh Circuit
Bednarski v. US, 06-2878
Denial of a petition for habeas relief challenging a sentence for distributing and receiving child pornography via the Internet is affirmed where the district correctly did not clearly err in finding that: 1) defendant's counsel consulted with him regarding the advantages and disadvantages of appealing his sentence; and 2) defendant's counsel provided constitutionally effective assistance of counsel.
