United States Seventh Circuit

US v. Hawkins, 05-4311

Sentences arising from a scheme to defraud mortgage lenders are affirmed where the defendants' argument that the presentence investigation report overestimated the loss caused by the fraud was forfeited since defendants did not raise it before the district court. Plain error review was also inappropriate since defendants failed to point out specific errors in the report.
