In an action under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act alleging a confusing description of the contracts between a retailer and credit companies in a state court complaint, summary judgment for a law firm acting as a debt collector is affirmed where: 1) assuming the act applies, the description did not rise to the level of a false, deceptive, or misleading representation; and 2) state judicial proceedings are outside the scope of the act's prohibition on unfair or unconscionable means to collect a debt.
