United States Seventh Circuit
Jackson v. County of Racine, 05-4070
Summary judgment for county in a suit under Title VII for sexual harassment is affirmed where, although genuine issues of fact were present with respect to the existence of sexual harassment, the county was entitled to prevail on its affirmative defense that it took reasonable care to prevent or correct any harassing behavior and that the plaintiffs unreasonably failed to take advantage of any preventive or corrective opportunities that the county provided.
