Lummis v. State Farm Fire & Cas. Co., 06-1266

Summary judgment for defendant-insurer on a claim of bad faith refusal to honor a fire insurance policy is affirmed where no reasonable jury could find that defendant denied plaintiff's claim knowing there was no rational, principled basis for believing that he had been involved in setting the fire.
