In the Matter of: Mutual Fund Market-Timing Litigation, 04-1495
On remand from the Supreme Court in a series of investor lawsuits against mutual funds alleging that the funds are liable for damages to the investors because they were vulnerable to the exploitation of arbitrageurs, one series of cases is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, another series is remanded to state court, and one case is dismissed as an unauthorized attempt to engineer a partial removal of a single case.
