United States Seventh Circuit
U.S. v. Reuter, 05-4503
Sentence for conspiracy to distribute narcotics is affirmed despite the fact that a sentence enhancement based on a judge-found fact more than doubled the sentence where Booker gave sentencing judges discretion to enhance sentences based on the preponderance of the evidence rather than clear and convincing evidence.
