Brown v. Michigan City, Indiana, 05-3912

Summary judgment for defendant-city in a due process case brought by a convicted child molester who was banned from a municipal park is affirmed where: 1) plaintiff did not have a property interest in his park pass; 2) any defamation by the government was not combined with the alteration of plaintiff's legal status; and 3) the ban was rationally related to the legitimate government purpose of protecting children.
