United States Seventh Circuit
U.S. v. Ellis, 05-3942
Conviction and sentence for possession of a firearm by a felon are affirmed where: 1) denial of a severance motion was not reversible error; 2) there was no error in an armed career criminal sentence enhancement; and 3) the mere fact that a person creating a business record knows the record might be used for criminal prosecution does not by itself make that record testimonial.
