United States Seventh Circuit

Conviction and sentence for possession of a firearm by a felon are affirmed where: 1) the evidence was sufficient to show possession of a shotgun and pistol; and 2) the existence of a prior conviction need not be alleged in the indictment or proven to a jury as an element of the offense for purposes of the Armed Career Criminal Act.
