United States Seventh Circuit
Davis v. Carter, 05-1695
Summary judgment for defendants in an action alleging failure to provide adequate medical assistance is reversed where plaintiff produced enough evidence from which a reasonable jury could conclude that Cook County had a widespread custom or practice of failing to provide adequate medical assistance and that certain individual defendants were deliberately indifferent to the deceased plaintiff's medical needs. The judgment is affirmed as to all other defendants.
