United States Seventh Circuit
Shell v. US, 04-3890
Denial of motion under 18 U.S.C. 2255 asserting ineffective assistance of counsel is affirmed where counsel was not objectively deficient in omitting certain arguments since: 1) a bug in a prison visitor's ID badge did not violate the Fourth Amendment; 2) Title III application and warrant were not defective; and 3) the government did not mislead a judge in seeking a warrant.
