United States Seventh Circuit

Home Protective Services, Inc. v. ADT Security Services, Inc., 05-1074

Summary judgment is properly granted in a dispute under the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law where a grantor can show that it does not have the alleged dealer "over a barrel," so that the grantor lacks such great economic power over the dealer that the dealer will be unable to negotiate with the grantor or comparison-shop with other grantors.
