Hobley v. Burge, 05-1367

Sanction of waiver of attorney work-product privilege with regards to a discovery dispute in an underlying civil rights claim against defendant-municipality is vacated where the district court erred in subjecting a law firm to the discovery obligations of a party and by transferring blame for defendant's errors to its former counsel.
