United States Seventh Circuit

Harrington v. City of Chicago, 04-4326

Denial of a motion to vacate a dismissal of a civil rights suit for failure to prosecute is affirmed where there was no abuse of discretion in the denial since the record did not reveal any permissible justification to excuse plaintiffs' attorney's failures to appear before the district court and his inattention to discovery obligations.
