United States Seventh Circuit

US v. MISCELLANEOUS FIREARMS, 03-4311

In an illegal possession of firearms case, defendant's appeal is rejected where the word "any," as it appears in a federal statute, does not require "all" actions be filed simultaneously, thereby allowing the prosecution to initiate either an administrative or judicial forfeiture action within 120 days of seizure.
