United States Seventh Circuit

CLARK v. LACY, 03-3891

The Court affirmed the district court's grant to stay a derivative shareholder suit brought in federal court, under the abstention doctrine of Colorado River Water Conservation District v. US, 424 U.S. 800 (1976), finding that the suit was parallel to a similar state court proceeding and a stay would promote wise judicial administration.
