United States Seventh Circuit
BEISCHEL v. STONE BANK SCH. DIST., 03-2182, 03-2327
The decision not to renew school administrator's contract did not deny her a property interest without due process; summary judgment for plaintiff is reversed. Under Wisconsin law, plaintiff had no legitimate expectation that her employment would continue beyond the 2-year term of her contract; even if she had a property interest, her due process rights were not violated per Wis. Stat. section 118.24.
