United States Seventh Circuit

WILLIAMS v. WASTE MGMT. OF ILLINOIS, INC., 03-1256

Because defendant-employer took prompt, appropriate corrective action when informed of employee's racial harassment complaint, it was properly granted summary judgment on his hostile environment claim. Because he was not constructively discharged, he did not suffer an adverse employment action, and his retaliation claim fails.
