United States Seventh Circuit
US v. THOMPSON, 02-3965
Defendant unsuccessfully appeals his conviction for unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon. Because the questions on cross-examination regarding past violence were probative of the witness's bias and motives to testify, district court did not abuse its discretion in determining that the danger of unfair prejudice from that evidence did not substantially outweigh its probative value.
