United States Seventh Circuit
CONTINENTAL INS. CO. v. M/V ORSULA, 03-1721, 03-1722, 03-1723
District court's dismissal of three cases involving steel shipments is affirmed solely on grounds of improper venue per FRCP rule 12(b)(3). The court was justified in dismissing, rather than transferring, these cases because filing in Illinois was an obvious mistake made by a sophisticated party with representation.
