United States Seventh Circuit
INDEM. INS. CO. OF N. AM. v. O'HARE SERV., 02-2822, 02-2933
In a dispute over lost cargo, the district court is reversed where 1) Hague Rules apply to all phases of the trip, 2) defendant was not legally responsible for the ultimate nondelivery of the container, and 3) where the court erred in finding that two parties could not have been found to be negligent bailees.
