PHELAN v. CITY OF CHICAGO, 02-3862
In a case where the plaintiff claimed violations of due process, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Title VII, dismissal and summary judgment to defendant is affirmed where plaintiff failed to show that 1) he had a property interest in his job, 2) termination was motivated by valid reasons unrelated to the decision to take leave, and 3) his superiors would be inclined to discriminate against white men.
