SANGLAP v. LASALLE BANK FSB, 02-1351/1999

A bank did not intentionally or knowingly disregard a serious risk to a customer's emotional health by closing his savings account, and because his claim is largely circumscribed by Illinois human rights legislation, the bank was entitled to prevail on the tort claim; the court properly declined to award attorneys' fees.
