United States Seventh Circuit

ALEJO v. HELLER, 01-1573

District court's sua sponte dismissal of a claim of unconstitutional discipline was proper where a prisoner failed to allege that defendant personally participated in or caused unconstitutional actions. A Bivens-style claim challenged conditions of confinement and was not barred.
