United States Seventh Circuit

LINC EQUIP. SERVS., INC. v. SIGNAL MED. SERVS., INC., 01-3449

In a claim arising from leased medical equipment which was damaged, under Illinois law the district court properly concluded that plaintiff is not entitled to damages measured by monthly rental times the number of months required for repair, but improperly found that the cost of making repairs sets a cap on damages.
