United States Seventh Circuit
MASTERS v. HESSTON CORP., 01-2656
A products liability suit against a manufacturer of a hay baler was barred by Illinois law when it was not brought within 12 years from the sale of the product, and the alteration exception was inapplicable; expert testimony, as to breach of the relevant standard of care governing the baler's design, was properly excluded as unreliable.
