United States Seventh Circuit

SCHROEDER v. HAMILTON SCH. DIST., 01-1906

Title VII does not provide for a private right of action based on sexual orientation discrimination, and the court declined to import Title VII employment discrimination standards into its traditional equal protection analysis; thus, where the plaintiff presented scant evidence that his complaints of harassment from students were treated differently from the complaints of other teachers, his equal protection claims could not withstand summary judgment.
