RICHMAN v. SHEAHAN, 00-2173

Officers enforcing courtroom security are not entitled to quasi-judicial immunity, a form of absolute immunity, when using excessive force to seize a person pursuant to a court order, unless the excessive force was specifically ordered by the judge.
