United States Seventh Circuit
US v. JEFFERSON, 00-3629
When charges against defendant are based upon evidence obtained from execution of a search warrant and statements made by defendant and a co-conspirator at the time of their arrests, rather than criminal activity witnessed by a confidential informant, the court does not abuse its discretion in refusing to disclose and produce the confidential informant.
