COX v. ZALE DELAWARE, INC., 99-4239
A debtor's lawsuit for violation of Section 524(c) of the Bankruptcy Code can be brought only as a contempt action under 11 USC 524(a)(2), but once debtor pays the debt in full and is not in jeopardy of being sued, affirmative relief can only be obtained in the bankruptcy court that issued the discharge.
