GILLIAM v. UNITED PARCEL SERVICE, INC., 99-3942

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), 29 USC 2601-54, does not prevent an employer from enforcing a rule requiring employees on FMLA leave to keep the employer informed about the employee's plans, and firing employees for failing to do so.
