Conviction of a postal employee of making false statements, in connection with an investigation into irregularities with the amount of money and stamps in vending machines, is affirmed where: 1) there was sufficient evidence to support the conviction for making false statements; 2) admission of evidence regarding the circumstances of the "integrity test" was not an abuse of discretion; and 3) although the district court violated Rule 30(b) when it provided a copy of the jury instructions to defense counsel seconds before the prosecution's closing argument, defendant did not suffer prejudice sufficient to mandate a retrial.
