United States Sixth Circuit

US v. Grant, 07-3831

Drug distribution sentence is vacated where the District Court erred in holding that the only factor it could consider was Defendant's substantial assistance to the government, because a District Court is permitted to consider other factors normally required for a just sentence under 18 U.S.C. section 3553(a).
