US v. Lopez, 07-5768

In a drug and firearm prosecution, the denial of Defendant's motion to suppress is reversed where the police lacked probable cause to search Defendant's vehicle, because there was no reason for the arresting officers to think the car contained evidence of the offense of arrest, as that offense was reckless driving.
