US v. Skipper, 07-3758

Sentence as a career criminal after conviction for possession with intent to distribute five grams or more of cocaine base is affirmed where: 1) a guilty plea counts as a conviction as soon as it is entered; 2) the crime for which the guilty plea was entered qualified as a predicate offense; and 3) the sentence was not unreasonable.
