United States Sixth Circuit

US v. Parker, 06-4506

An appeal of defendant's reduced sentence, which was imposed on the government's Rule 35(b) motion to reduce sentence based on his substantial assistance, is dismissed for lack of appellate jurisdiction as 18 U.S.C. section 3742(a) governed the appeal, and defendant did not raise any colorable claim that his appeal fell within the narrow jurisdictional parameters set out in section 3742(a).
