Village of Oakwood v. State Bank & Trust Co., 07-4412
In an action brought by a group of partially uninsured depositors arising from a bank's failure and defendant-FDIC's appointment as receiver, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where: 1) the district court had jurisdiction over the entire case; 2) depositors waived any claim that they were improperly denied discovery by the district court; and 3) they failed to comply with FIRREA's administrative-claims procedure.
