US v. High Tech Prods., Inc., 06-1188
An order absolving the U.S. of all potential liability with respect to certain previously stolen, non-radioactive isotopes is vacated and remanded pursuant to the Russian government's claim of error where, although the U.S. was entitled as a matter of course in an interpleader action to be discharged of all liability related to the distribution of the isotopes, it was not similarly entitled to be discharged of all other liability related to the isotopes, including damage to the isotopes while in the custody of the U.S.
