Am. Civ. Liberties Union v. Nat'l Sec. Agency, 06-2095, 06-2140
In a challenge to warrantless wiretapping under the government's counter-terrorism operation known as the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP), summary judgment against the National Security Agency (NSA) and imposition of a permanent injunction is vacated and remanded for dismissal of the entire action where the court of appeals found that plaintiffs lacked standing for any of their claims.
