United States Sixth Circuit
Parker v. Gen. Extrusions, Inc., 06-3353
Judgment as a matter of law for defendant on plaintiff's claim for punitive damages in relation to her Title VII gender discrimination suit is reversed where: 1) the district court erred in its determination that a managerial agent's conduct did not reflect "malice or reckless disregard" for plaintiff's right to be free from discrimination in the workplace; and 2) there was no basis upon which to conclude that the company made a good-faith effort to enforce its non-discrimination policy.
